Maple Ridge is at the furthest point of our regular service area, and being straight with you about that is more useful than pretending otherwise. We do service pools here, and many of our clients are on a routed schedule, but a few things differ from working in Surrey.

Honest Talk About Travel Distance
We are based in Surrey, and Maple Ridge sits on the opposite side of the river. That affects two practical things.
First, routes. Our Maple Ridge clients are grouped so that a visit is efficient rather than an out-and-back trip every time. This is why our weekly maintenance works reliably even out here, but it also means visits happen on a set day of the week rather than whenever suits you.
Second, emergency and repair response. A breakdown in Surrey is a short drive. A breakdown in Maple Ridge takes longer. If you are considering us for ongoing maintenance, it is worth weighing that up front rather than discovering it during a pump failure.
For straightforward maintenance and scheduled repairs, it works well. For anyone needing rapid emergency response, a service based on the east side would serve you better, and we would say so.
Maple Ridge Conditions Worth Knowing
Colder, wetter winters than Surrey
Maple Ridge gets more rain and colder nights than the Fraser Valley, which means a higher risk of freeze issues in a pool left through the winter. Iron and manganese in the water
Maple Ridge draws from groundwater in parts of the area, and higher iron and manganese content is common. This shows up as orange or brown staining on plaster, particularly after a heavy rain or when the water is topped up, and it can also discolour water after a power outage or a long period without circulation. It is not caused by poor maintenance, and it needs to be treated as a water chemistry issue rather than a cleaning one.
Older pools, mixed ages
There is a wide spread of pool ages here, from original installations on long-established properties to newer builds. The older pools in particular tend to have iron staining on the plaster and original equipment that is at the end of its life.
Property size and access
Many Maple Ridge properties are large, and some rural properties have pools set well back from the road with long access. If your pool is difficult to reach, it is worth telling us when you enquire so we can plan for it rather than discovering it on arrival.
